From the field- Rahat Floods..

Here are some glimpses .. over 10 tonnes of the material right from dry ration, blankets, and sanitary pads, medicines and woolens to boats have reached Srinagar despite the major bottle neck of Road block. Thanks to Indigo and other airlines are also joining in. A very enthusiastic team of volunteers - KVDFR is running day and night to make sure that they reach out to stranded people and rescue them and then reach the essential relief as per needs. Thank you to all who have come forward to send the material as per the list and the financial support. Like our earlier 'Rahat' campaigns, our target is also to reach the areas which have been inaccessible so far and certainly beyond Srinagar too. We are here and building base to make sure that right from the immediate scenario the work goes on as per need and in a larger area. Stay tuned to the updates and to join the initiative refer
